The event has the main focus on the activities of researchers in Advertising and Communication and Consumption in Brazil. At this meeting, the discussion focuses on possible ways to think about teaching for Brazilian Advertising courses. In 2017, the VIII Pró-Pesq PP was held, for the first time, at the Federal University of Pernambuco, in Recife. Being hosted by the Postgraduate Program in Communication at UFPE. Historically, from 2010 to 2015, the event took place at USP. In 2016, an itinerant period began and, therefore, the VII Pró-pesq PP took place at PUC-Rio. The success of the first I Pró-Pesq PP, which had support from FAPESP and the Dean of Culture and Extension of USP, proved to be powerful, bringing together around 170 participants and 73 works published in an e-book authored by PhD researchers national and intpresented throughout the history of its editions. And growth is linked to movement to new cities in the country and has become a way to expand and internationalize activities in the field of Advertising research.
